At Deep Roots Studio, our mission is to care for hair with intention — blending artistry, education, and wellness in a space that feels elevated, personal, and genuinely welcoming.

My journey in this industry began as a color specialist in Tallahassee, Florida in 2018, where I focused heavily on custom color and blonding. Those early years shaped my eye for detail, formulation, and care. When I moved back to the Tampa area to be closer to family and continue expanding my education and career, my perspective evolved and in 2022 we opened Deep Roots Studio in Riverview, Fl — a space designed to feel relaxing, personal, and truly client-centered.

Today, our focus has evolved into scalp and hair health. We specialize primarily in natural texture and curls, helping clients understand, embrace, and care for their hair in a way that supports their goals, lifestyle and long-term health. Every service is approached with thoughtful intention — prioritizing shape, balance, and the overall wellness of both scalp and strands.

While much of our work now centers around curls and natural texture, we still proudly offer traditional services such as classic haircuts, blowouts, and custom color. Our foundation in color artistry remains a part of who we are — it’s simply paired now with a stronger emphasis on healthy hair from the root and embracing natural beauty to those that it aligns with.
